Extra Volume Barrette - Classic

Beautiful, but the metal clasp is quite flimsy and constany pulls out my hair by getting caught.

Wow, I think this is the first clasp ever that I actually didn’t have enough hair to hold it in place

Sorry to say that the clasp does not work very well. It gets stuck in the clipped position and I cannot get it out of my hair.

I love the barrettes that I have gotten in the past. I have a France Luxe barrette from years ago that still works great. I even have one that is about 30 years old and its lovely.

My hair is fine in texture but there is masses of it and this is the only barrette that will hold it all. There is a major problem though with the catch so tight I cannot open it on my own, needing someone else to open it. I am so sorry to have missed out on one in ONYX, buying one in black which is not a good match for my hair. It will never be a favorite with the color available and the difficulty in opening the clasp. I will try again if the color onyx returns.

The barrette is pretty, and plenty large for my thick hair, but it immediately became jammed so I can’t use it. I must return it.

This barrette is beautiful, but for someone with very very thick hair, as it slid right out of my hair and mine is thick. All others that I bought are perfect!

France Luxe has been my "go to place" for barretts, etc. for many years, and their customer service and all their hair products are rated 10*s!

This was a beautiful item but just a bit too big for my moderately thick hair. It kept slipping down so I had to return it. If you have seriously thick hair get this !!!!

When I complained that another barrette I ordered was not big enough to hold all my hair, the company (very generously) sent me a complimentary "extra volume" one -- and, it is fabulous. I have thick, curly hair and I had never before been able to find one that worked.
This one works beautifully. Will be buying more in other colors.

I've struggled for many years to find barrettes for my thicker hair and I am so happy that I have finally found a company that sells beautifully crafted barrettes that hold my hair. I ordered 3 and love them all. Thank you for the free gift !!! The only thing that would make the purchasing experience even better, is to have the duties and taxes included in the price so it's not a surprise when they are delivered to the door.

I've had trouble with barrettes my whole life. I could never get all of my hair, or even half in one barrette, but I finally found a few that work for me. And they are beautiful too. Thank You :)

I really like all your volume barrettes. The OTC brands snap apart after they've sliced and caught my hair, which is fine but long and thick, but this one is extraordinary and I wish it came in more colors. I also really like your sales and buy 3/get 1 deals, I haven't broken anything FL yet, nice products, worth the wait!

Perfect for super thick hair. Nothing else on the market like it. Id buy more if they made it in more colors. Hope they never discontinue these.

Best barrette ever!

This is a beautiful product which works well when paired with smart work wear. In Opera Silver it looks sophisticated yet formal and I often wear it with black, silver or grey. When I bought this product I did not realise that they really mean it when they describe it as 'extra volume' I have fairly thick hair and had imagined that I would be able to wear it instead of a hairtie for a ponytail, but this did not work! my hair slipped through very quickly when I tried this as it is simply not thick enough. Instead, I tried putting my hair up and when it had been folded over a few times this barrette did then hold it securely. Occasionally throughout a busy day at work I do have to re-do my hair. I think all this is fair given the description of the product.

Beautiful barrette that holds my thick hair without any problems at all, love it!!!

I purchased this barrette in nacro black, I get lots of compliments on it. I have thick hair that reaches to a little below midway of my back, I can twist my hair and wrap it in a bun and use this barrette to clip and hold it in place. It is the only one that can do this. I also have this barrette in caramel horn. I only use France Luxe accessories since I discovered them.

This clip does not hold- won't stay in my hair. Can I return it? It's very pretty and I love the other purchases, but this piece is faulty.

Although beautiful, this clip is too big for even my thick hair. The configuration is different from the other France Luxe clips.

I've looked for a barrette large enough to pull my hair back in a low ponytail. Jennifer recommended this and I'm glad I ordered one. Only two colors were offered during the May sale so I bought the Opera Silver. I'd like to see more colors and designs in this size!
