Classic European Side Comb

I bought a pair of these combs; the return window had closed before I got around to using them. The second comb of the pair: the teeth were fused together, side-by-side and to each other; I gently moved the teeth to snap the seal, successfully, but even with the teeth supposedly separated, the teeth are still so wide and so close together that I cannot push the comb into my hair, even using more force than one would expect to ues, or is comfortable using, in inserting a side comb.

European side comb does not hold hair, slip right down.

I love the width and depth of this comb for my heavy thick hair. It really grips due to the shape of the individual comb strands (? whatever you call them). I'm getting another pair

I love the side combs. I have thick, chin length hair and found that the teeth of the combs do not really hold my hair in place once positioned with the tension needed to stay put. This is disappointing but I will continue to play with them in my hair. I have another set purchased elsewhere that does work so know I am doing this correctly.

I have thick hair. I love side combs and love what these look like but find the teeth don’t hold my hair as well as I had hoped. The combs do hold the hair but don’t always stay in place. Still using them as they are very pretty.

Love the hair comb. It holds my thick hair back easily without any other accessories and stayed put the entire evening without any hair products.

Sadly been very disappointed, especially as I had to purchase from the US to have shipped to UK. Service was slow and the combs do not pull down easily into my hair. Would not have purchased had I realised.

The Tokyo ivory is so classy, I had to buy two. I use one on each side. I have lots of hair with big curls and they hold up alot better than all the other brands I've tried.

This is an exceptionally beautiful side comb for my hair -- it is strong, slides well and holds securely. I will likely buy other "colors/patterns" of this particular comb so I can have multiple "excellent looks".

Very tight fitting comb, which holds great. I would give five stars except perfect to me would be a bit wider, which is a personal preference.
