It's a lovely, smart & sharp-looking barrette. Holds well (I have fine thin hair).
These are my favourite little clips, they go with everything and are so versatile. A little bit fragile though - a couple have broken, not at the comb, weirdly - the glue at the hinge has deteriorated?
I absolutely love these small filigree side combs. The quality is excellent and they’ve held up so well with regular use. I have straight, fine hair, and they hold securely while giving me an easy, polished look. I’ve ordered multiple pairs because I sometimes misplace them and like having extras on hand. Truly a favorite and a staple for me.
Clasp works well. Quality of metal components seems different from purchase 5 years ago but very happy with this barrette.

I purchased this item in brown years ago at a nifty shop in Wdst, N.Y. I wore it often. It’s easy to place in bun for all sorts of occasions.
When I found the black I was shocked and ordered immediately. My original was brown. If you like to put you hair up this is my winning piece
I took a chance on this size and found it's just a bit smaller than I wanted. However, it's really well made and the design/color is beautiful. I definitely recommend it--just make sure the size is big enough for your needs.
I didn't read the description fully and was surprised that the clasp is a soft, bendable plastic. I question how durable it will be. That said, the acetate part is lovely. I wanted something smaller than the larger size that can hold back a ponytail, and this is perfect to pull back some (not all) hair. So overall I'm satisfied, but the soft plastic aspect makes me question how long it will last.

The clip will not close on my hair and the hardware feels flimsy. Not good quality.
I haven't used it a lot, waiting for my hair to grow longer, but it seems that the notch helps the pin staying in the hair. Overall, I am happy with it.
It looks pretty and holds my should length hair in twisted style simple updo. Love the product.

I was very disappointed when i received my barrettes to discover France Luxe is
using a cheaper quality mechanism on the back of the barrettes they're selling.
it's no longer made in France and is of inferior quality.
This smallish clip is perfect for my fine shoulder length hair. Holds all of it up comfortably for the whole day.
This clip is similar in size and function to my very favorite Little Riley clip. Works best for me impairs for a messy bun or 2 small buns.

The picture online shows two combs but only one arrived. I should have read the description more carefully. Not worth paying the shipping again to get a matching one.
Bought the brown & white, pretty good looking, though not as fancy as I'd thought they'd be, but I still enjoy them because they have my favorite flowers, so they're cool.
Not only are the soups decorative, they leave your hands smelling lovely and soft to boot!
