I love the beauty of the color/design, the strong steadfast clip, and this is the perfect size for pulling half of my hair back. Elegant for a senior my age, or any person! I still have Luxe barrettes from 15 years ago, that aged very well and I still wear. Everyone should treat themselves to a little beauty, and the quality is still there.

These are great when i am having a bad hair day to simply pull my hair back and clip it with ione of these barrettes and have a dressier pony tail.

These are not as great as they used to be. The clasps are made of thinner metal, and they also seem sized differently. They feel flimsy and are more prone to catching your hair. I seriously doubt that they will last half as long as the one they replaced.

Sadly these barrettes no longer have the durable "Made in France" clip mechanisms that made them so special. The new mechanism is flimsy and snags my hair. I should have been cautious when they no longer showed pictures of the mechanism, like they previously did. The more appropriate slogan for this product should be Glued up in France. However, the decorative plastic elements are acceptable. Still disappointed, but I won't be wasting my time returning my items, they will just be gifts at Christmas.

This onyx pattern barrette is ok, but not the same quality as the France Luxe I used to buy from Nordstrom - which no longer sells this color, so I ordered from here. The clasp is thinner and no longer says “Made in France” on it. It appears thinner by a millimeter or so from my old ones.

I ordered the black and white rectangle barrettes and love them. The size is perfect to put my hair up .

I love the selection of colors and the durability, way better than the crappy ones made in China. However,
the gold plating wears off pretty quickly and if there's any moisture from sweat or rain (or wet hair), the clasp will turn green in places.

55 years ago when I was a young woman, I discovered French hair clips with velvet bows. I found them in New York City. As the years went on, I wore my hair in many lengths but when Covid came I decided to growing long. Now where could I find my beloved French hair clips with the same high-quality. I found this site and hesitantly ordered one. When it arrived, I was so pleased. These were just like the clips I had long ago. I now have ordered several of the rectangular barrettes in all different colors as well as some of the bows you're now making. I'm giving your products as gifts to friends with long hair. I've bought some boules too. All your products are high quality and beautiful. I wear one of them every day.

To large I wanted small bad

The metal closure is not as sturdy as the last barrettes I ordered from France luxe, several years ago, which I still do have. Too expensive now. I will not be ordering again.

Thank you for selling the classic French barrette! I had kept my barrette made in France for years, but gave it away because I had cut my hair short and never thought I would go make to long hair. I tried other barrettes that looked the same, but they were not. This barrette keeps my hair in place, never moving.

These barrettes are a staple in my wardrobe and are a quality product.

Love the France luxe barrettes they are the best and hold thick hair very well and are more than worth the price. I was so happy to find this brand again. Love this barrette. The onyx is stunning and I think works well in my mousey brown hair.

I usually only use large jaw clips but this new pattern does not come in a jaw yet. However, I LOVE this pattern in the barette! The small check pattern colors are beautiful and rich! Holds my hair perfectly. This clip should look just as good with light or dark hair.

I have several of these barrettes already but the south seas pattern i just received is one of my new favorites. The blue colors are just gorgeous and with all the heat and humidity I will be using it alot to pull my hair up. I have have 4 other ones for 4 years and they hold up beautifully and don't get tangled in my hair.
