Rectangle Volume Barrette - French Classic

One of barrettes broke within one day of use. I expected much better for the price.

Pleasant customer service rep sent a replacement for barrette with a defective clasp. I have a LOT of hair and this barrette accommodates it. My only complaint is that they seem to be sold out of almost every color, as I would certainly buy more .

I have thick hair and I love this barrette. It’s my third one in a different color. They’re well made and the metal clip doesn’t get unglued from the plastic part as in cheaper barrettes, nor does the metal part break apart. Well worth the money!

Although both barrettes are beautiful, it was difficult to close and a bit too small for my medium-length thick hair. Because I recently bought them during the holiday sale, now I am stuck with two unusable barrettes because of their return policy on sale items. :(

The barrette is beautiful and the quality cannot be debated.
The only thing that makes it "not quite perfect" is that I have an extraordinarily thick hair. I find the barrette difficult to clip shut because I have to force it. And I have to pull hair out of the closed barrette before I am able to open the barrette. Don't misunderstand; this barrette is far, far batter than others I have tried. I would like to have volume barrettes which are a little more open on the face. Perhaps it would ease the difficulty I have working with it.

Having thick and soft or smooth hair can be a challenge for most barrettes. The drug store versions can't cut it, or don't last long! But these clasp all day, for high-volume manes like mine. I have purchased four of these in various colors already!

For those of us with thick hair, you cannot beat this barrette. The new Black Horn color is awesome!

I would love to own all of them as they are exceptionally lovely. But you can only wear one at a time and at present I'm delighted with the one I have. Extremely substantial and the colors are stunning. All of your pieces are so well done and so in style. Customer service is great to deal with and the care you have for your customers is reflected in the beautiful items you produce. Keep up the good work.

My old barrettes were ruined in an accident in my home, and I was trying to replace them. I purchased France Luxe barrettes specifically because they were marketed as volume barrettes. While these barrettes are beautiful and well-crafted, they are not crafted for thick hair. They cannot hold my hair in a low pony, as my old barrettes did. This is very disappointing.

A relief to have these little darlings. They happily piggy back in my hair pulling all disorder into flattering order.I have missed these as all things do come to an end. Now again I am at the beginning with all sorts of self confidence on having fresh new little clasps!

Beautiful barrette. Got it in south sea and the colors have great depth and 3 dimensional. Holds my thick hair all day long comfortably. This is my second volume barrette from France luxe and it definitely wont be the last one. Wish they were less expensive, but they are totally worth it.

Opera silver is my favorite shade of this barrette! Some black-and-white barrettes just highlight the color contrast for effect, like "color block" clothing designs. This one is subtle and sophisticated.

I absolutely LOVE my ivory and white barrette. I have lots of long hair and this particular barrette looks phenomenal with my summer wardrobe. A great warm weather look for the hair.

Great quality but not as much volume is held as in the past.

I have both ivory tokyo and onyx colors and they are beautiful. I have thick and naturally wavy hair and these volume barrettes are great for my hair. Once all your hair is in the barrette it can be challenging to snap the barrette shut, however, once done the barrette is secure and no sliding or feeling loose - it stays snug until you take it out.
