It is a very attractive, finely crafted hair clip, but It does not hold my hair well at all. It looks very nice if I put my hair in a pony tail first and then clip it on top of that. I doubt I will buy another one because after much searching I have found another vendor that sells the larger gold tooth jaws that you stopped making. Those worked so well for me for 30 plus years. For those of us with very fine hair it is frustrating to see these beautiful hairclips that are works of art will not hold our hair adequately.... Sigh. Customer service has been very good about trying to keep me as a customer and for those of you with thicker, and maybe younger hair, I would highly recommend this company and their clips. I am not bothering to make a return or exchange, nor do I need a credit because I have worn them and I will just keep them, or give them away.

I have fine, shoulder-length hair. This pretty jaw is probably great for people with thicker or more voluminous hair textures. This was simply too large for my hair type, however, Customer Service at France Luxe makes exchanges, returns and refunds effortless. I returned this Large Couture jaw and bought the Couture Jaw (the next size down) which is perfect for my hair. Love the quality of France Luxe products and appreciate their patient customer service staff.

Timeless Hair Clip. I have very thick hair and this clip is perfect. It's the right size and holds my hair in place without any fussing.

I bought this hair clip in the classic Tokyo pattern, which matches my sunglasses. Works fine for holding up my shoulder length hair. I also like its rounded design. The metal part of the spring mechanism is gold tone (not silver, like cheaper drug store hair clips) and the black part of the mechanism says "France" close to the spring. It's a sturdy and beautiful hair clip!
