Skinny Rectangle Ponytail Barrette - Classic

I already own 3 of these in onyx, tokyo, and south sea. They are quality made & hold well on my fine hair! I decided that I wanted 2 more onyx just in case the one I own broke. I just received the the new ones and they are poorly made and I find it hard to believe they are manufactured by France Luxe. The metal is flimsy and the details allow the barette to stay in place are missing. Look at the photo I've attached for details. Also, the original I own is marked 'Made in France' and as you can see the new ones are not. I would never recommend these to anyone based on what I received.

Excellent quality

My very straight fine hair looks odd pulled back with bar barrettes, so I got one of these to try. A little tricky to get my hair into it, but it looks nice.

Simpler than it appears, but a bit of a struggle to put on. A card with a little drawing showing that the hair goes ON TOP of the spring would help. Makes a full-looking pony.

Holds hair well, great selection of colors, all around good purchase. I have extremely fine straight hair, but do have a lot of it, so needed something that would stay in.

It's easier and faster for me to use a thin clear elastic first to make my pony, then cover with this. Plus, I can use hairspray before adding the clasp and keep it shiny. This clasp keeps my pony from getting droopy and makes a nice profile. The gold in Africa elevates the piece and adds depth. Very classy, wear it often.

I love the polished, well-kept look of my ponytail when I wear this skinny rectangle ponytail barrette. The color is perfect for my hair and it holds my not-so-thick ponytail really well.

I have shoulder length hair that I am trying to grow out, so it's not very thick. This barrette is very hard to put on. Once it's on, it does stay on very well but I have to give it two start because of how difficult it is snapping it on.

Beautiful. The curved shape accommodates my thick hair into a low ponytail without flattening it out into a wide curtain of hair. It keeps the ponytail narrow, as it would be if I used an elastic instead. The skinny rectangle doesn't overwhelm or add bulk and really suits my petite frame. Lastly, the "Africa" colorway is wonderful. The subtle flashes of gold make it really fresh and interesting, and it feels more dimensional than an ordinary tortoise print. I may get this in Onyx next.
