Long Tooth Chignon Pin - Classic

Bought in color South Sea during extra 50% off sale on sale, and it was ok. I was hoping for a deal on a pin on par with my Undo Hairware or Machete pieces - but nope! The cellulose acetate on the France Luxe pin is maybe half the thickness of those brands, but at least it seemed stronger than the Wavy Tooth Chignon Pin, The inside-of-a-shell color is nice. I have old France Luxe that is solidly made and has held up beautifully; the quality has nose dived, and I expect this pin will eventually break in my thick hair.

I love this pin to hold my hair up. I purchased it in the blue, and it's a great addition to my hair tools. A bit of a turn or a bump midway on the pin would help it hold the hair better, but I do love the look of it and the color!

Tried using this on dirty hair and the pin would not stay . Kept slipping out like my hair was freshly washed! Any ideas of how to make it stick?

One pin and one hair tie will hold my below waist length thick straight hair all day. Just one pin will hold a messy bun or a twist all day . These are awesome!

I love the color and style!!! So classic. The first time I used it it stayed in for about an hour before falling out of my hair as I did not use anything but the pin to hold my chignon in place. I was hoping that was all that was required but this cute pin definitely requires a ponytail holder with my curly hair first to create my chignon for more stability with the pin to hold it all in place. Thanks!

These are so good!! I got two both in ivory tokyo for my hip length hair. One is secure enough but I like to use two for extra hold. No need to redo my hair in the middle of the day. I truly wish theyd come in south sea!! Please please consider it!

I love this chignon pin! My hair is thick, about halfway down my back, has very little natural curl and if I blow it dry it is straight and slippery but just one of these chignon pins can hold all of it in place beautifully. It's also nice for a half-updo, too. I love the color selection and the fact that they are so lightweight and durable. I have many, many types of chignon pins and hair forks made of all types of materials and this is my favorite for a quick, easy, non-damaging up-do. I very highly recommend this item!

I have long, medium weight Asian hair. When I want to put my hair up, this length (in black) is my go-to. I wish this came in more colors (my vote: tortoise shell)!

I got this one in Ivory Tokyo, and it's quite beautiful. I found it easy to secure both a bun and a french twist, and I'm not very skilled at up dos. I really love the way it holds a french twist. The item description of this piece emphasizes the elegance. While I certainly agree that it's a beautiful pin, it's for much more than a 9-5 occasion. It's nice to secure your hair while doing a coconut oil treatment and lounging around the house. I'm keeping a back up in my le Pliage tote...so much nicer than an ordinary hair tie for a messy bun on the run.
