I love this barrette- it’s the perfect size for my medium thick hair. The colors it comes in are great! I now own 3. I will purchase additional This really makes the perfect pony tail, and looks so chic .I love how it comes with a lovely little pouch to keep it in.

I’ve been getting items for my hair for about a year now and am so happy with everything I’ve gotten. I have very thick long hair and most store bought barrettes can’t hold it. These barrettes, ponytails holders, jaws and headbands are all made well and strong enough to hold my hair. Love them all and the colors are beautiful.

The baarrette holds all of my medium thick hair back. I can barely get the barrette closed but so far it has been holding tight. I was looking for a narrower, thinner barrette that would hold all my hair back while giving the front a more relaxed, not so ponytail tight look. The barrette is very well made and overall I am happy with it.

The lovely caramel horn shade is beautiful on its own, yet blends in very discretely with my hair when I don't have a barrette in the right color for my outfit.

I love this barrette so much that I now own it in five colours. It's slim so it's discreet yet the colours perk it up just enough to be interesting. It's the kind of barrette that's simply elegant rather than the kind screaming "I'M WEARING A BARRETTE LOOK LOOK!!" I have ridiculously thick hair and this barrette is just large enough to hold it all together. I haven't found it strong enough for "up-dos"; the barrette can pop open if I twist up or double up my hair. But for simply holding all my hair back together or securing a braid, it's utterly fantastic. I get headaches with the weight of ponytails and buns, but never have I had even a twinge of discomfort wearing my hair back with this barrette. I'm positive that before long I'll be buying up the rest of the colours.

This gives fine hair volume when you put it in an updo and holds securely all day. Beautiful finish and well made. Love the finish of Nacro black.

I've also bought 4 or 5 volume barrettes from here. I really like the Tokyo version of the narrow rectangle style above. A very nice faux tortoise in a durable material. This barrette was to replace my old France Luxe Tokyo barrette that I broke after about 10 years of loving wear. I find the Tokyo goes with everything, works for professional and casual outfits.

I think France Luxe has the best barrettes. I have tried so many kinds but never have had any luck with any others being able to hold my thick hair until now. These are by far the most comfortable and best quality.

Great clip for thick hair. As I've said in prior reviews, they need to come up with a clip that is in between their regular and these volume barrettes. If they put the wavy/sawtooth design clip on the regular, it would hold hair that was thick and required the volume barrettes, but is now thinning, yet still too thick for the regular barrettes with the smooth clips. I wish I could draw a design for them! Otherwise, I love this narrow style even more than the chunky ones I've purchased in the past. I may even get another color -- the Lasco is beautiful!

This site is the only place I could find barrettes for thick hair. I have ordered a total of 5 barrettes and love them. They are stylish and great quality.
