Zodia Banana Clip

My hair is not as thick as it once was, but this clip worked with my shorter and very curly hair, smoothing it away from my face. It stayed all day with no additional bobby pins required. It's just the right length too.

I like the texture of the clip. The brushed matte finish makes it less likely to slide like some other clips do. The texture also keeps the teeth from scratching my head. Now the not-so-great news. I bought different 3 colors. The ocean and black colors have a kind of spring closure. The black one has a wire sticking out of each side of the spring. I'm not sure what the spring is even for except maybe to hold it open while putting it in? The tortoise one doesn't have a spring. None of the three open wide enough to capture all of my hair. Overall, they're not what I had hoped for. I'm not sure it will be worth the cost of returning the 2 I haven't worn yet.

Photos show a glossy high quality acetate plastic, the reality is a really cheap hair clip with a waxy satin finish that I could see gets scratched easily. The hinge and everything in general feels cheap quality and manufacturing, definitely seems like mass produced drop shipping, I could get the same quality from Ali express.

I love these, they look great and work well for my hair. I have long, medium thickness straight hair. They don't slip out, and they don't leave any weird kinks in my hair. Only problem for me is they are breaking at the hinge. Two have done this so far.

This beautiful, strong banana clip looks gorgeous in my thick hair. You can pull the hair in as tight as you want or as loose as you want. Where has this pretty banana clip been all my life?

Good price but please offer more color choices

I did get the cheapest one so others may be different. Makes my hair look very pretty. Only issue is it’s not secure enough, my hair weighs it down eventually. Maybe some additional, smaller grippers also? I cut my hair an inch or two so lighter may help!

I was excited to receive these clips as I have been searching a while for them . However I am not sure they worked for me as it is not staying clipped with my curly hair maybe when I flat iron my hair it would work . In other words this is not for mixed girls thick curly hair . I think if they make these clips a bit bigger or adjust the twist to the tip of the clip so it stays in place , it may work . But they are beautiful clips, well made and they look exactly as shown .

I love this clip! It holds my hair up all day. If you put it on right after getting your hair wet (and if you have wavy/curly hair) it will give you the nicest natural curls.

Love these large hair clips. They hold a large, thick mass of curly hair back into an attractive ponytail with a long drape. Excellent for a bad hair day!! Would love even more colors.

I purchased this in 3 colors and have worn one everyday since they arrived! They hold my hair up and back in a relaxed way without pulling or looking severe. I have thick hair that is just below my shoulders. Hope they come in more colors in the future. Very happy with this new addition!

Love!..holds my fine, curly hair in a wonderful cascading "ponytail" without pulling...and it's very lightweight and well made. I just wish there were more colors available....I'd buy them all! The Zodia Banana Clip is the best ever...and I highly recommend.
