I had been purchasing a comb no longer available made by Madora hair products which was a line created by a salon in NYC on 5th Avenue -- a long hair salon by owner, George Michael (NOT THE SINGER). They have this entire system of cutting and caring for long hair that promotes amazing growth and health. The NYC salon was open for decades but recently closed and George Michael had passed a few years before the salon finally followed. Only a few salons now remain in the US where they have staff who were trained in this long hair technique by George Michael himself. One such salon is called Rapunzel's Long Hair Salon in Columbus, Ohio. The only other I know of is in Beverly Hills but I don't know the name of the salon (if you call the Ohio salon, they can tell you the name of it). ANYWAY -- the combs they sold at these salons were part of the Madora line of products they used and are incredible quality. I was down to just two combs to share with my two long-haired daughters and myself. I had been searching for a comb that was the Madora's equal. I even searched Ebay and Etsy to see if soneone was selling theirs; no such luck. Then I found these combs by France Luxe and I was over the moon! In fact -- I think they're even BETTER than the Madora ones and they come in so many beautiful colors! They are also half the price of the Madora ones that you can no longer get. Both combs are made in France. I have been singing the praises of the France Luxe comb to all who will listen. We bought several of them and I'll be back to buy more. We cannot say enough good about this wonderful company and the fantastic combs they make for those of us with long hair who take our hair care seriously.
