I have looked at this hair pin for a long time, skeptical that it would work with my straight fine hair. Very happy to say that it does and is easy to use.

Too small

The color of this hair pin is beautiful however it’s much too short and narrow to secure even my long thin hair. I will keep it to help secure my smaller hair buns.

This is truly a special hair pin. The material is flexible, so it is great for effortless buns. Yuo can twist your hair in every way you want and it stays in place. Also very comfortable and no feeling of pulling or snagging.

I purchased 3 to hold my thick hair in a bun. Held my hair in place all day … no discomfort at all (unlike pins which eventually become uncomfortable & result in a sagging bun). Great quality, worth the price.

Beautiful but didn't work for me

I have long, thinnish, silky older hair. I was able to get the pin in and it seemed to hold - but then it would let go about an hour or so later. I tried different positions of the pin, thinking that my collar might be hitting the ends but nothing helped really. Had I known I probably would have gotten the one with teeth, but I was hesitant because someone reviewed that it pulled their hair taking it out...what would be really helpful would be videos of each styling tool to show how to do it and other hints.

Onyx is gorgeous

I purchased this in Onyx for my mid back length fine but thick hair. It. Is. SO. Small. PLEASE pay attention to the lengths of your accessories prior to buying them. This is 3 7/8". As a petite woman that's basically the width of my hand. No it won't hold your chignon or updo unless you have 2 or 3 of these to use with longer hair. I have figured out a way to twist it up but it doesn't hold for very long. It is flexy and bendable and so far has not had issues with potential breakage. It's soft on my hair and absolutely gorgeous in color... like an abalone shell or pearl effect. I use it on my 3yr old more than my hair because it's so small. Excellent quality though.

These are lovely to look at, user friendly and hold my hair which to date has been an ongoing challenge. I purchased two pins which has turned well as my hair can be obstinate. These aren't the first France Luxe hair accessories I have purchased and am happy to say am still delighted with the quality and appearance. France Luxe products are "high end"...they have never disappointed.

This is great for holding up my fine but long hair in a variety of chignons or twists. The pin is light and flexible, which makes it easy to work into an updo. I was worried it wouldn't hold well, but I can shake my head back and forth without shaking my hair out.
