The Couture jaw clip is my favorite. I have been buying it for many years. First in a department store & later on-line. I think I have every size offered—from mini to jumbo. I bought a number of the larger ones when I was a new mom & had no time for me but had to be presentable for work. The snazzy jaw clip elevated my ponytail to something more elegant & made me feel like I had put some effort into my look—even though I didn’t. Plus, it is a must for summer when humidity is at its worst.

The claw clip color is a beautiful, polished, deep black. It is very sturdy and high quality.
The clips are pretty but I didn’t feel like it held my hair securely so returned.

I love the design and have bought 4 of these in the past. 2 of them broke within a few years of purchase, in the same exact way. The metal helix spring in the back broke, and the fact that they broke in the same location makes me think that perhaps there is a flaw in design or manufacturing.
I love this clip, but honestly expected better quality given the price point, and for it to last more than a few years. I'm on the fence about purchasing a replacement.

I find they do not hold my hair as well as the rectangular cutout jaw but certainly better than other jaws on the market. I have been using France Luxe for so many years I can’t recall when I started. The quality is unmatched.

I’m Disappointed with the strength quality. I was really looking forward to loving this because the style is great, but the clip is not strong so it is loose and doesn’t hold the hair well.

I bought this jaw a year ago, but didn't use it much till recently. It broke. I contacted customer service and was told that it wasn't their product. It was. Stamped in gold "handmade in France" 54 dollars is a crazy amount of money to spend on something that breaks that easily.
