This is a PLASTIC clip that does not hold hair in place. I have thin, shoulder length hair and have used beak clips for over 20 years. Recently, one I had been using since about 2016 broke so I thought I would replace it. I looked for a long time to find a strong metal clip. Other reviews suggest this clip is metal. It's not. It's layered plastic and my hair gets caught and pulled between the layers of plastic. Very frustrating.
