Perfect for Vintage Hair Styles Beautiful & High Quality

Pleasantly surprised with the quality and elegant look to these slides. Gives a polished, European look. I use them to clip next to a french twist or roll/bun on the back of my head. They will help style vintage hair dos, from Victorian through 1950s easily. Note - regarding the quality of the metal, it is mediumweight. Not lightweight or cheap, and the gold is a true gold color. Besides, when placed in your hair the metal really isn't easily seen.

Beautiful & Functional Clip

I purchased several of these clips in different patterns and was VERY pleased when I opened the box. These clips are substantial, much like the Atelier line, and the glossy finish is gorgeous. They hold in place really well and are easy to style with.

disappointing

I just received this pinch clip in caramel pearl. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the FranceLuxe quality that one would expect. The metal clasp is very cheap, flimsy and jagged. like tin, with a brassy veneer over it.
I'm disappointed that FranceLuxe doesn't keep their quality consistent- some of their accessories are wonderful quality- and others, like this one, is like something from a discount drugstore.
