What happed to the quality. I bought a barrette from here 5 years ago. Great. Bought a new one. It keeps coming apart. The metal clasp is cheaply made. Very disappointed.

I have thick hair and most barrettes slide; these do not. The design is such that the barrette clasp has a curve, rather than being straight. This feature allows for a secure hold. Plus the colors are lovely. I bought two.

I have older clips made in France they are similar but these clips are not near the quality. The clips are thin flimsy and difficult to open and close. The decorative part is also thinner. They are pretty but fear they won’t last long

I thought this was so pretty but it broke on my second wear. My others have not broken so maybe just a bad egg.

Really nice barrette. I don’t have enough hair to use it for my halfie-up, but it would be great as such for someone with thick hair.

I have difficulty finding a barrette that will hold all of my very thick hair. This one does a great job. Best one I've found in a long time. Highly recomment.

I have 3 of these beautiful barrettes---they are so elegant. Perfect for thick hair and the oval shape hugs the contours of your head

The new South Sea color is absolutely fantastic. The main color is indeed turquoise, but it also contains black and a shimmer of lavender. I just comb my hair back and fasten the barrette. France Luxe, please, please consider manufacturing side combs to match!!!

I like the way I can just brush my hair back and hold it all with this barrette; so sleek and classic. The blue that I ordered is just gorgeous and I plan to order other colors too.
