Chignon Pin - Classic

This is a beautiful pin! I’m trying to learn how to use it. My hair is below shoulder length, and I want to be able to twist it up. I’ve been watching “you tubes” but haven’t quite mastered the trick of flipping the pin to hold!!

These are great, they hold my hair, which is fairly thin and shoulder length, and they look good. Other reviews said these pins got caught and were difficult to remove, but I found the opposite. They do stay put but slide out easily with a normal pull. No tangling even when there’s texturizer in my hair.

New Chinon Pick Classic is wonderful. It is so wonderful that I purchased a second one just to make sure I had one in case I could not find my first one. The material is sturdy. The design is well engineered to hold the most stubborn of hair. My hair definitely has a mind of its own. I am a medical professional. I need to have my hair out of my face. My hair is long and straight. When I wrap my hair in a twist and secure it with this pick, I am good for the whole day.

So let me start off by saying this is a beautiful pin, I got the abalone color and it's just overall stunning! It's a great contrast for brunette hair.

I have shoulder length, fine but very dense, and slippery hair. I was skeptical that the pin would work on hair at my shorter length, but it's really not a matter of length, rather the texture of your hair that dictates how well the pin will stay. Due to the slickness of my hair, I find that the pin will not stay as well as I had hoped and becomes loose after a couple hours. If you have a similar texture to me, I would still recommend trying, however be wary that you may need some kind of texturizing spray or dry shampoo to give the hair a bit of stick. Quality is unmatched though! It's a very sturdy pin with a slight amount of give so it's very comfortable when I can get it to stay.

This is the second chignon pin I purchased from France Luxe and I LOVE IT! I have shoulder length hair and I can sweep it up in a classic and elegant updo using this pin. It's hard to believe this chignon pin can provide a secure hold that lasts all day. I carry a pin in my purse all the time so I can always use it when I need to.

I have a lot of fine, straight, slippery hair about 2 inches past my collarbone. I love to wear it up, but there are only a few things that work extremely well for my slippery hair, and this is one of them. It is very simple to use and the wide portions of the forks help it holds very well. I am delighted. It stays in place for hours without adjustment and looks lovely! The look can be either messy or refined. I will get the other colors, too. Love it.

These are just beautiful. I'm saying "these," because I bought four. I twist my shoulder-length hair into a spiral bun, and anchor it at four points, and it holds well. I've been wearing my hair like that for many years, but never with such luxurious pins. I got these in the "caramel horn," and it's just the most unusual, elegant color/pattern I've ever seen in a hair piece like this. The "horn" pattern in each pin is different, so it doesn't look like they were just stamped out of the same mold. They really have a warm, almost organic look to them. My only concern is really a problem with my hair type: my hair is super-fine and slippery, and these pins are so smoothly-finished that I'm concerned they'll slip out of my hair. (At this price, I don't want to lose them!) I've been sprinkling some dry texturizing powder into the crown of my hair, and that's been giving it some more "grip." I hope that keeps working and I don't lose any of these!

I have baby fine, shoulder length hair and this is great for an easy and simple way to look a bit elegant.

Classy Chignon Pin that stays in place and looks great. I like how natural the color range is and it doesn't look like plastic.

Absolutely wonderful pic for long hair. Hold my hair beautifully. As for the company shipment is 5 stars for sure too. It was fast delivery and carefully wrapped in cute pink paper. First time I discovered this company on Amazon but I found out that is better to order straight through the company. Definitely 5 stars for the product and for the service as well.
