Hair flips forward

My favorite headband broke and I was trying to replace it by buying this one. I was so excited when I didn't get an instant headache when I put it on! At first, I loved it. But after wearing it awhile, my hair began to flip up and forward around the points. It may be because my hair is so fine, not sure. But it just doesn't work for me. :-(
